"I have quite a lot of experience with meditation, yoga, yogic breathing, mindfulness, sound baths, CBT, etc… so I felt pretty prepared going into Annie’s breathwork class. But it was nothing like those things. Though many of them would pair very nicely with breathwork! 

 

In fact, the class I attended started with a yoga session, which set up my body and mind perfectly for the breathwork. And then afterwards we were given the opportunity to reflect on the experience with mindful painting, along with some tasty snacks and a lovely cuppa. I love having a painting to visually remind me of what I learned on 

the day.

 

So, how to explain the breathwork experience? Easy? Peaceful? Relaxing? No, not exactly... though I certainly felt a huge amount of peace and a relaxed body and mind on the other side of the work. The best word to describe it would have to be 'transformative'. Yes. It was incredibly transformative.'

 

I learned things about myself that I was completely unaware of. I felt feelings more deeply than I thought possible. I experienced forgiveness, gratitude, and acceptance. 

 

Annie provided a space that was utterly safe and allowed big feelings to happen without awkwardness or judgement. I felt like I had permission to let go of the mask that I’ve been wearing for so long that I had forgotten I put it on in the first place. 

 

Frankly, I was surprised that I was so deeply affected. It’s just breathing, right? Hmmm

 

Trust me. You deserve to have this experience. Show up with a willing spirit and a trusting heart, and you will see. I will most definitely be back to see what happens next time. I’m told each experience is completely unique. And I am intrigued!"
